From North or South leave M6 at Junction 36. Follow signs to South Lakes and Kendal. This road is A590 A591. Follow A591 to Windermere. Follow signs to Town Centre. Drive through village towards Bowness and Lake. This road is 'New Road'. In about 1 2 mile there is a Catholic Church on left. St John's Lodge is approximately 100 yards on left hand side. If you reach the Police Station you have gone too far If you reach the Lake you have definitely gone too far Turn round and retrace your steps.
